How to Build a Business Plan

"How to Build a Business Plan" US Embassy Hosts Three Days Seminar for Liberian Small and Medium Enterprises

 

(MONROVIA) May 21, 2008 - The United States Embassy in Monrovia hosted a three-day seminar (May 20 -22) on “How to Build a Business Plan” for Liberia’s small and medium enterprises, including media institutions. More than 25 participants represented Liberia’s Business Association, the Liberia Women’s Chamber of Commerce, several other local businesses organizations and media institutions are attending the seminar.

 

Dr. Sharon T. Freeman, Founder and President of “Lark-Horton Global Consulting,” a United States-based institution conducted the seminar.  Dr. Freeman specializes in developing strategies to promote the growth of small, minority, and women-owned firms in different regions of the world.  She has extensive experience in Africa, helping businesses develop the plans they need to succeed. 

 

In addition to conducting the seminar on “How to Build a Business Plan,” Dr. Freeman consulted with Liberian business stakeholders and gave two public lectures on maximizing your business.  The first lecture took place at Ricks Instituted in Virginia on Tuesday, May 20 at 4:00 p.m. and the second occurred at the American Library in Monrovia on Tuesday May 22 at 6:30 pm.
