American Citizen Services
American Citizen Services (ACS) is part of the work of the consular section of the U.S. Embassy in Monrovia. Assistance is provided to American citizens residing in or visiting Liberia, including but not limited to passport services, Consular Reports of Births Abroad, and notarials. The Embassy also assists in emergency situations, including deaths, arrests and crisis situations. The Embassy is closed for non-emergency services on weekends, U.S. and Liberian public holidays.
The consular section is open for American Citizen Services Monday - Thursday from 2:00pm - 5:00pm and on Fridays from 8:00am - 12:00pm.
