Sections
Embassy Monrovia is comprised of three primary sections that work to improve political, economic, and cultural relations between Liberia and the United States.
The Political and Economic Section works with the Government of Liberia on policy issues ranging from peace and security to human rights and trade. The Public Diplomacy Section organizes events and exchange programs to connect Liberians with U.S. society and culture, democratic values, and policy initiatives. The Consular Section is responsible for supporting Americans abroad, as well as assisting Liberians with immigrant and non-immigrant visas.
Visit each section for a more detailed description of their contribution to the mission's work, along with related information, links, and relevant resources.
