Coming to the Embassy
Every nonimmigrant visa applicant must bring the following forms to their visiting visa appointment:
1. Valid passport with at least 6 months of validity.
2. Visa application fee of US$131, which is non-refundable*.
3. Electronic form DS-156: Nonimmigrant Visa Application, completed on line. The form must be fully completed with no blank spaces left and all three (3) sides printed.
4. Form DS-157: Supplemental Nonimmigrant Visa Application.
5. Form DS-158: Contact Information and Work History for Nonimmigrant Visa Applicant.
6. Two recently taken 2” x 2” passport photographs with a white background; hair line, chin and both ears must be shown in the photographs.
7. Any other documents you think may be helpful to your case, including letters of invitation.
*Note: please bring EXACT CHANGE with you to your appointment. It is hard for the cashier to make change, and you may be asked to leave and return with change if you do not have it upon arrival.
