Educational Information and Advising Program

Provides information about educational opportunities in the United States to students and scholars in Liberia. The advising program also includes the following:
(a) Conducting predeparture orientation
(b) Giving information about (but not administering) U.S. standardized admission tests
(c) Working with youth exchange or study abroad programs
(d) Helping to form U.S. alumni associations
(e) Providing university and college catalogues and on-line sources for admission information
(f) Providing sample testing materials for students preparing for standardized tests
(g) Undergraduate group counseling sessions, which provide an introduction to the structure of American higher education as well as detailed information on the application process
(h) Individual advising sessions, which help students design and implement their education plans.
