Office of the Defense Attache

The Defense Attache represents the Secretary of Defense; other top military officers and the Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Military. The Office of the Defense Attache provides military and political-military advice, assistance, and support to the U.S. ambassador. The Office of the Defense Attache has the full authority and responsibility inherent in the position on any military organization commander except the authority to administer military justice.
